About
Faith Of Life Ministries Detroit, Michigan
Senior Pastor Monica Hawk
Pastor Monica Hawk has served in various ministries. She accepted her pastoral license from none other than Apostle John Fults, FAMI prelate and Pastor Carmen.
Pastor Monica is married to Steven Hawk and has 3 children, Mark, Marcel and Micah. Pastor Monica loves spending time with her family, which also includes her 4 grandchildren.
Pastor Monica has a heart for women and young girls. She started out with the Preparing Princess Ministry. This ministry taught young girls that they were princesses and to treat themselves accordingly. Later she had an outreach to women where she provided female products, socks, toothbrush and toothpaste in a purse to homeless women. Both the ministry and outreach were successful.
In 2021, Pastor Monica created Gorilla Faith. Gorilla Faith is a motivational speaker forum used to encourage and equip the men and women of God. Through Gorilla Faith, Pastor Monica started a podcast called Motivational Moments with Monica. The podcast was live on the radio for over a year.
In 2022, after being in ministry for more than 15 years, Pastor Monica was moved to create Faith of Life Ministries with the help of Prophetess Caroline Logan, Minister Tanisha Butler and brother Andrew Beaty. The ministry was created to help people develop and cultivate a faith in God through Christ Jesus that would help people build their faith throughout their life. The ministry was also created to assist in the delivery of God's people from sin.
The ministry has had some very successful outreaches since its creation. Our first out reach was 500 socks for the homeless.
We were excited and blessed when we met our goal and delivered the socks to homeless people throughout metro Detroit. We also delivered the remaining socks to a homeless shelter in metro Detroit.
We also started Coffee and Communion in December, 2023.
The purpose was to pray with people and offer communion to people without a church home or whose schedule had not allowed them to receive communion before the year closed out. We met at a coffee shop in the heart of Detroit. At a place called the Congregation!
The response was positive and we continued Coffee and Communion for three more months. We plan on starting it back up in the fall of this year.
We look forward to becoming a strong tower within the community for Gods people.
